Early Childhood Educators, Are You Looking for Something New

Pay range : $15 – $20 an hour Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Attention Early Childhood Educators! Your experience matters to the ECE community and to the partner centers that our team works alongside! Our teaching staff members have the ability to maintain a self-determined weekly work schedule, which allows them to function at their best within our partner center classrooms! We believe in creating a work / life balance that encourages our staff members to do what they love, while caring for their lives outside of work and we are currently seeking experienced and dedicated ECE teachers to fill our contract partner center requests in their Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms.

As a Staff Our Schools teaching staff member, you will have the flexibility to choose when and where to work, the opportunity to work in a variety of schools, and classrooms all while making a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Additionally, our substitute teachers have more free time to take care of themselves! You are not responsible for lesson planning, implementation or the needs of the classroom outside of your work shift.

As a substitute teacher with Staff Our Schools, your responsibilities would include : Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children ages 6 weeks-5 years of age.

Implementing developmentally appropriate activities. Managing behavior and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere. Communicating with other center staff members.

Collaborating with a team of early childhood professionals. Following pre-planned lesson plans. Being a positive role model for the children and other center staff members.

Qualifications : A BA in ECE or a related degree, certification, certification or in college working toward a degree in a related field.

A strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education. Ability to work well in a team environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to continuously learn and grow as an educator. Passion for working with young children.

Experience working with young children in a classroom setting. Flexibility and willingness to work in various ECE school settings.

Meeting the standards for a Teacher or Assistant Teacher according to the Wisconsin DCF Rule 251. Early Childhood Education experience preferred, but not required.
