An Accredited Preschool located in Rockville, Maryland is seeking an immediate Full- time Lead Preschool Teacher,
Key Responsibilities:
Plan & Implement aftercare curriculum.
Responsible for preparing activities for children ages 2-6 years old.
Responsible for safe guarding the safety of each child.
Ability to teach in an educational, hands on learning environment.
Ability to take responsibility as Aftercare Lead teacher.
Ability to supervise groups of students.
Take ownership of the classroom with a strong classroom Management skill.
Ensure the environment and materials are properly maintained.
Candidate must have the following:
Must be at least 18 years old.
One year of teaching experience working with children.
Excellent communication skill, verbally & In writing.
Relevant educational background such as BS/BA in Early Childhood Education or at the least meet the minimum experience required for certification as an Early Childhood Education Teacher (CDA) or 90 Hour Early Childhood Certification.
Essential Functions:
Enjoy working with children.
Fun, nurturing, with a calm and compassionate personality.
Highly Organized.
Dependable, enthusiastic and reliable.
Must have a positive and professional demeanor.
Assist and supervise children at all times.
Ideal candidate must be team focused.
