Job Description

Toddler Classroom teacher responsibilities include:

Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool- aged children.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structural activities.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents/ guardians regarding their child’s progress.
Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques.
Ensure the health and safety of all the children in the classroom.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
Change diapers and potty train children in the toddler classroom.
Requirements for this position are:

12 + Early childhood units
Previous experience working with young students in a childcare, daycare, or classroom setting.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Familiarity with behavior management techniques for young children.
Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children.
